Collaborating with Civil Society & Intergovernmental Organizations
USEE and Civil Society
Civil society actors at local, regional and national levels have specialised and unique community expertise that is critical to successful inclusive project implementation. Keeping in line with our focus on Social Equity, partnering with NGOs will enhance the effectiveness of our community-driven development interventions, especially in ensuring the inclusion of marginalized and vulnerable groups. At the same time, we aim to empower local communities, particularly women and youth through capacity building strategies and job opportunities.
USEE and Intergovernmental Organizations
Partnerships with Intergovernmental Organizations (IGOs) are vital to the integration of our sustainability frameworks in project implementation. For instance, it would be difficult to integrate the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in The Gambia without collaborating with the relevant country-level United Nations agencies and funding mechanisms.
